What is dated, and a vote for what is not. Nothing on this page is available yet.

Dated

Coming: Team seats — 3 to 5 seats on one invoice. Target December 2026, gate T3. A date here is a target; if it slips, the roadmap line changes first.

Vote for what's next

Signed in? Pick the items you want first: a human command line, npm and PyPI package checks, a VS Code extension, watchlist alerts in the product, rules-file snippets for Cursor, Codex and Gemini, and check-up readers for more agents. None of these is available yet. RepoGates sends no e-mail; your vote is counted in the product.

  1. A human command line repogates clone and repogates check: a blocked clone or install refused at a terminal through the same preflight API. Only what runs through it; a git clone typed without it is not seen.
  2. npm and PyPI package checks The package itself, not only the repository it declares: install scripts, package age, maintainers, and a name that does not match its repository.
  3. A VS Code extension Runs the preflight when a folder is opened, and lists what would execute on open.
  4. Watchlist alerts in the product A change in a verdict you watch, shown on your account page. No e-mail: RepoGates sends none.
  5. Rules-file snippets for Cursor, Codex and Gemini Lines for each agent's rules file that tell it to call the MCP preflight before it fetches. Advisory: an agent that ignores them is not stopped.
  6. Check-up readers for more agents Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, Gemini, Cline and VS Code, read in full. Today the check-up only detects them, and they carry no score.

Only the totals are shown, never who voted for what. A vote is kept with your account and erased with it (privacy policy). Press a vote again to take it back.

Today, VS Code Marketplace and Docker Desktop extensions are assessed through the MCP server and the Claude Code plugin, not in the browser. The plugin sees Bash tool calls in Claude Code and does not see anything else. The VS Code extension above would be a new, separate piece.

Every decided item, with its gate when it has one, is on the roadmap.
